JAG Healthcare Burbank is seeking to create an Admissions & Marketing position to provide added value to our operation! This is a full time position; part time options may be available, depending on candidate need and/or qualification.
In this Admissions & Marketing position, you will be responsible for managing referrals, obtaining the required information to admit residents and working with the clinical team, distributing marketing materials and acting as a liaison between the facility and the community we serve.

Responsibilities:
(Include but not limited to) Assist in interviewing residents/guardians/sponsors and obtaining required admission information and signatures.
Collaborate with internal and external sources to solve admission problems as needed in accordance with facility policies.
Collect, assemble and review admission documentation for accuracy and completion.
Develop and Maintain strategic alliances and relationships with referral sources and community partners Maintain a resident waiting list in accordance with established facility policies and procedures and as required by state/federal regulatory requirements.
Maintain an accurate record of available beds.
Obtain the resident/guardian's signature on all required permits, releases, authorizations, etc.
Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the facility public relations and marketing programs and activities in order to maintain the resident census and to provide the community with information relative to the facility Assist in the development, implementation and tracking of customer satisfaction surveys.
Assist with promotions, publications, newsletters, etc.

Contact the news media when new programs, promotions, etc.
, are implemented within the facility that will be beneficial to the facility and community alike.
Coordinate special functions for community outreach and facility events.
Develop, schedule and guide tours/personnel through the facility.
Work with the Marketing Director in the development of facility brochures, newsletters, and publications to ensure that public information describing the services provided in the facility is accurate and fully descriptive.
Keep a supply of brochures and other printed material readily available for persons requesting such information.
Keep the Administrator informed of newspaper, radio and television accounts of items that may have an impact on the facility.
Maintain a liaison with families, residents and community and civic leaders.
Provide reports/recommendations to the Administrator concerning the facility's marketing and public relations programs and brand activities.
Participate in community service and civic groups on behalf of the facility.
Schedule and participate in departmental meetings concerning marketing and public relations programs and activities.
Support and promote the philosophy, goals and objectives of the facility's marketing and public relations programs and activities.
Requirements &
Experience:
Computer literacy and proficiency is required.
Experience in marketing/public relations in a healthcare setting is preferred At least 1 year Long Term Care Nursing Home Experience is preferred Must possess a thorough knowledge of principles of effective communication, mass media, advertising, policies, education, community relations, demonstration, organization structure, social and activity services, government relations, etc.
